FABRIC SAMPLE REQUIREMENT


A minimum memo sample size of 9 inches by 9 inches must be submitted with all COM orders for review and approval prior to production. Production will begin only after both fabric and specifications have been approved by Robert Abbey.

LEAD TIME


Standard COM production lead time is 4 weeks from receipt of approved fabric, memo sample, and completed order form.


COM TERMS & CONDITIONS:


  • All Customer's Own Material (COM) is accepted subject to review and approval by Robert Abbey prior to production.
  • A $50 pre-approval service charge will be required for fabric sample evaluation for approval. Your $50 service charge will be applied toward your purchase.
  • A fabric memo sample is required with each COM order to confirm suitability, color, and pattern orientation.
  • Robert Abbey is not responsible for inherent fabric characteristics, including flaws, dye lot variation, shrinkage, or performance issues.
  • Certain fabrics may not be suitable for lampshade fabrication due to heat sensitivity, coatings, backing, or adhesive properties.
  • Pattern placement and seam location are determined by the workroom unless specific placement instructions are provided in writing and approved in advance.
  • Excess fabric will not be returned unless requested prior to the start of production.
  • Once production has commenced, specifications may not be changed and orders may not be canceled.
